Ohhh .. . Shiny.. . WEVO FTW!

So I replaced my Transmission mount, and both motor mounts last night. Easy DIY on jack stands. I had about a 1/4 movement in my shift *** under load, and sure enough my trans mount was totally shot. I did the WEVO semisolid 997 mounts, and boy what a nice difference. I had not see any pics on here of the 996 - 997 specific mounts so here they are.

How many miles on your car? The ones you removed were original? I have the same year as you with almost 60k now. I'm thinking I need to do this too.

I have about 44k on the car. I have not run the part numbers on the old mounts yet so I dunno what they were.

I replaced the mounts with the WEVO ones as a "while I am working on mounts" type project.

They really stiffen up the car under hard cornering and acceleration.

The trans mount is just two 16m bolts,2 15m bolts, and 2 15m nuts. Support the transmission with a separate jack so you can raise a lower it to align the mount. I lowered the drive shaft guard as well. If you have a nice selection of wobble and U adapters for the ratchet should take about an hour, alot less on a lift.
