Other then the numbers being reversed (10 is the stiffest on the PSS10's and 1 is the stiffest on PSS10's and 1 more adjustment), I am not sure there is much of a difference, but I have no experience with PSS9's (1's or 2's). Someone else probably has a better answer on this.

This is a good thread. I have PM'd Betim at BBI for the specifics and it close to what is posted in the thread.

I have been running on PSS10's all year. I run them at 7 in the front and 8 in the back and if I go out 1 more time this year I may try 9 in the back.
On the street I run 5 front and 6 back. It is stiffer than stock, but not much. The difference from stock is night and day. I am sure there are better track coil over’s, but for a daily driver they are tough to beat. You can get rid of a lot of under steer and most of the squatting under acceleration. The car feels much more like rear wheel drive than awd and actual over steers a slightly until you approach the limit of traction. Turn in, feel, response, everything is improved. I am sure with BBI suggestions it would just be much more of the same plus.

PSS9's and PSS10's are street shocks. Don't make the same mistake I made and buy this interim set up only to find out they are too softly sprung for the track. At the very least, buy a shock system that offers the choice of springs, such as KW's or JIC's. That way you can choose something stiff enough for track but reasonable for the street.

You have been warned.
