Intro
Hey guys,
My year long search for a 996tt finally came to an end this month. I have to say that this forum was extremely helpful. I was able to avoid a few nightmares with all of the information on here and am now in the process of getting everything sorted on the car from it sitting for over a year without being driven much. The 911 turbo has been my dream car for as long as I can remember. When I look at it in my garage, it still doesn't feel like it’s mine.
Here are the highlights:
-2003, 31k miles, 0 deductible EasyCare warranty until 2012.
-Slate grey metallic exterior with optional aero kit.
-Black leather interior with red stitching/seat belts, carbon fiber trim, power memory/heated seats, Porsche crests on head rests.
-Early EVOMS stage 2 package (GIAC tune, Milltek exhaust w/100 cell cats, billet diverter valves, K&N, bosch spark plugs).
-B&M SSK
-X73 suspension package
Can anyone comment on the reliability of the early 04-05 GIAC tunes? Should I look to update the flash or wait until I upgrade turbos/fuel?
Also, does anyone know of a way to remove a 4 year old inspection sticker from the windshield?
These are for a friend’s new website. I will post up more once they are all processed.

Big congrats on your new acquisition it is beautiful, love the interior with the red belts and red stitching (if you don't what the red belts anymore I will be more than happy to take them from you

Thanks for all the kind comments. I looked for over a year and stumbled upon this one on AutoTrader.
Wow, I had no idea interior trim could cost so much. Thanks for making me even more nervous when I drive it.
