Difference in Alpha 28 Turbos?

Is there any difference between the different alpha 28 turbos for sale (Switzer modified Alpha 28, Evoms alpha 28s etc..)?

If so, what specs might be different?

Thanks!

I dont know if there is a difference, but I know if I was going with a turbo upgrade I would call SWITZER

yes there are differences places like switzer, protomotive, UMW and such all create custom to their spec turbos not every alpha28 turbo is the same also there are a few different 28 turbos off the shelf.

Ive spoken with Tym switzer and they are not very far from Tial Sport and he was telling me that they have a special combo on the turbos they use that unless i knew the exact specifications i wouldn't beable to order.

call one of the shops that will answer the phone when u have questions, Switzer, Proto, UMW,

i have the evoms 28's and they wont even give me general info about which setup i have just dont return the phone calls.

turbos

Switzer is checking into it for me..

I really need to talk to Tial again to figure out the right answer.

For some reason the specifics about these turbos are a guarded secret by the tuners. I own them myself and could not get any significant info.

However, in my experiance the 60-130 times are very similar for the different setups. I suspect supporting mods are more important than tuner variances in performance.

evoms=FAIL Proto/911tuning/Switzer are a go plus they'll share enough but not 100% as this is their bread and butter and custom secrets will stay a secret. I cannot wait until my tials are finally tuned...damn house work/wife

Tial alpha A28s use the 7 blade HTA wheel. They use their own custom hotside and include a upgraded WG....
Look at the pics... its right in front of you....

That was not my question...I am asking what is the difference between Alpha 28 turbos between the different vendors.

If I order Alpha 28's from EVOMS, Switzer, YOU, AWDMotorsports, Proto...what is the difference? It sounds like there might be a difference, but no one really knows..., which is why I asked Switzer to find out for me from Tial.

(FYI...vendors offer the turbos at different prices, which is why I am trying to figure this out in the first place).

Tuners won't tell you the main difference because is exactly how they do they work.
You should ask people what tuner they recommend and why, because the quality of the product is not the same, the service of the tuner is not the same, the post sell support is not the same. That is the difference between tuners.

I hope this help.
