Smile Stock US 996TT Suspension Q

Spent my first DE at Barber over the weekend. Yahoo! More about that later.

Can the front susp on my non-ROW 996TT be adjusted? Specifically, how much (if any) negative camber can be dialed in? I was riding on the outer shoulders of the front tires most of the weekend, at all tire pressures. They didn't like it . . .

Yes it can be adjusted. Depending on the car max is about -1.

For DE use you will be limited to the amount of front negative camber you can get with the stock suspension. If you lower the vehicle with coil-overs or springs you can get more neg. camber.
For street/DE use you really do not need more than -1.5 up front for light track use, this will be a lot better than the stock set-up

When I first bought my TT, I went to the track with the stock suspension and was very dissappointed. It didn't even measure up to my Boxster suspension. The standard TT suspension is set up for street/GT cruising ONLY. This is because more than 90% of all TT's never see the track!
Needless to say, I rushed out and installed the Bilstein PSS9's. It is by far the best upgrade for a TT that is going to see track time.
I went to Barber last fall. It is a great "technical" track. It is also not the best track for our high-powered TT's. It is about 1.5miles with 16 turns. Very tough on the tires, especially with our AWD and 3500lbs. Without PSS9's, I would be at a great disadvantage at Barber.
To answer your question; No the TT suspension is not adjustable. If you like to track the TT, change the suspension (PSS9, Moton, JRZ) And yes Barber is super tough on your tires, especially if your suspension is not helping out!

Smile

Can I successfully run just the PSS-9s on the track with negative 2.0 deg. camber or so? Or will I need GT3 swaybars too?
