Battery / Alternator / Save-a-battery all-in-one charger
I haven't run my car in a while and the battery was too low to start it last night. No big deal I thought since I just bought the SAVE a BATTERY charger/maintainer. I plugged it in and let it charge. One thing I noticed was that the charger got very hot even all the correct lights were on (fail light was out) and it showed about 13.7 V when charging. In the morning I go to start the car and the battery is dead. When I plugged the charger back into the cigarette lighter the car started fine. Is this coincidence or did this whiz back charger kill the battery? I'd like to know before I start using it on my new battery....
