Vivid's 3 Inch Y Pipe
I genuinely don't think there is a scaling difference; 98 Octane is 98 Octane and 93 is 93 Octane, 95 is standard in Switzerland but every garage also has 98, just like Shell & BP sell in the UK at many garages the hyper expensive 100 Octane. In the US you just have wimp Gas. I have the EPL Billet 16 tune

there was a thread not to long ago from a guy that he told his tuner that that he runs 98 oct so the tuner over here state side tuned for our u.s. wimp gas .. and next thing you knew bam.... blown motor ,

It baffles me that people talk so much about the importance of flow & how much better x product is at flowing, but then we never see anything on a friggin FLOWbench. Am I unreasonable?
Anyways, sorry for the thread clutter Richard, hope your setup works well but I would check to see if the 98 octane is (R+M)/2 or just 98 RON Edit: dick_997 beat me to it!

Petrol or gasoline is assessed, categorised and sold by an octane rating. Generally, in most areas of the world, the Research Octane Number (RON) is used, but in North America, the Anti-Knock Index (AKI) is used. Conventional 'standard' "Premium Unleaded" petrol in the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia has an octane rating of 95 RON, and in North America it is AKI/RdON/PON 91-93 (RON 96–98). However, higher octane "Super Unleaded" - often formulated with higher quality additives, is usually set at around 98 RON in mainland Europe;
So apols re the weak US Gas comment, had to go to the airport this morning (flight to Geneva and back) the Vivid full 3" Y pipe certainly pulls though....

Richard, congrats on the new setup, if it looks similar to the pic Dan posted I have to say it looks nice. Question, is labor over there (wherever it is you are from) less expensive than we have here in the states? $50/hour is a good deal from where I am sitting. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding.

I have John's 2.5" pipe and it's a constant diameter all the way to the TB. Actually it looks to be a bit bigger once they "Y" together.
It's a tight fit in own right. The lower left of the fan actually touches it.
