Good job stealership!

Just got the 996 back from the dealership after they replaced the hydraulic clutch reservoir (which they had a hell of a time with) and the service manager said that he "went ahead a replaced both diverter valves for me", with no explanation of why.

As soon as I got the car on boost there was a loud whooshing sound, and a noticeable loss of boost. I believe I have the exact same problem that has been seen many times before. They must have either screwed up installing the diverter valves, or in the process left a leak in an intake pipe.

They claimed to have done a test drive and it drove "perfectly".... what a joke. I'll let you know what the story is.

Don't know about the laws in CO, but the laws here in CA state work cannot be performed on a vehicle unless it has been agreed upon. I hope he didn't charge you for the work he did on the dv's...especially now that they sound like they need to be replaced "again".
