A chute? No, my car is 100% EXACTLY the way it is when I drive it around on the streets (no tape, chutes, same tires etc.). Honestly I don't think chutes are needed for cars at the Mile unless they are doing 250+ excluding the Supras considering the brakes on the cars.

Jonah did 9-10 239+ mph runs on his 2 Gallardos and never used the chute.

Why are there such limited photos and videos of the event? I really expected to see lots of them

maybe that's a typo on the site?? I don't know who the owner is here on 6speed. Maybe someone confirm/let him know what it shows as the cost for a download.

Ok cool. That's exactly what I was wondering, why are some of the cars using chutes when they should be able to brake down from that speed...considering the brakes that are on the car. What makes you think the Supras need the chutes though?

My reason for asking was it seems a lot of cars are having issues when they deploy the chute...it seems if the car has proper brakes, you could just them to slow it, and use the chute as a back up?

Just thinking out loud here.

I think the Lambos thought they were going to run faster speeds and I bet Richard didn't want to do any victory spins this time.
