Oil Extracter for 996 TT

I have a friend looking at getting an oil extracter for his GTR and was wondering if this will work for the turbo as well. I did some searching and some have tried a oil extracter with the 996 non-turbo and only got half the oil out.

Has anyone tried this on their turbo? It would make oil changes even easier since filter is easily accesible. No mess and quicker.

Won't work.
You need to drain from the crankcase, the oil container and the turbochargers.

will not work. since you will not get the oil out of the crankcase. you really dont need it for this car since its pretty easy to do the oil in it...

Oil extractors work well when the oil is still under pressure and kept in one location. An extractor is connected to some predetermined extraction point and 90% of the oil is removed (best case). If a car has multiple drain locations, the 90% effiency drops.

All. Thanks for the confirmation. I was hoping for a small chance it would work.
