So My 03TT Still has CPO Warranty for a Year!
I just discovered that my 03TT still have CPO Warranty for a Year.
Just to make the most use of it I was going to take it to an indy (IPB) here in sacramento and have them do a full look over on the car and see what needs replacing since it will be done for no or little cost while under warranty.
*What are the things I should look for?
-Car currently has 20k miles
* I am going to be replacing the clutch since the one currently is the stock clutch.
**I have a squeak in the pedal which I am assuming is the accumulator and I will be discussing that with IPB as to me getting that replaced under CPO warranty.

It's going to any Indy so that I can get advice on how to proceed with what needs to be fixed and so they can tell me preventative maintainence I should have done while it's being serviced under CPO warranty at Porsche.
It is CPO, not aftermarket.

Well, if you have any issues with the trans, such as 2nd gear pop out, you may want to consider having that checked whilst under CPO warranty and possibly repaired. I am in the middle of that right now. The new gearset is in shipment and the car should be back together next week. I took advantage of the free labor to remove the trans and had the clutch replaced (28k miles...it was 30% life remaining) as well as updated the transmission carrier mount with the upgraded 997 part. Had them take a peek at the RMS and coolant connections just to be sure.
Getting PCNA to cover the work under warranty was not easy. They tried to deny me a few times (said that the gear were worn due to my driving and DME had over-revs). However, I argued that I just got the car a few weeks ago and if my insinuated poor driving ruined two gears in 500 miles, then we have a poorly manufactured part. I also argued that Porsche had ample opportunity to completely examine the car, including downloading the DME data, BEFORE they certified the vehicle. I cannot, nor can you be held responsible for the driving habits of the PO nor for whether or not Porsche conducted their inspection of the car properly before granting a warranty.
