The Akita is from Oregon,but I do have a Terrier that we rescued from the streets.

 

akita pups are among the cutest....

i hear they can get aggressive when older, any truth to that?

 

akitas are great dogs i had 2 when i was younger.. they are very loyal and protective.. if someone plays rough with you then they will protect you and can be aggressive... but i think thats a good thing..

here is malorie ( pitbull ) and bubba ( french bulldog ).. 2 of my 4 dogs lol

Thanks, Although a great point was made about rescue dogs, and
responsible owners and the fact we need to first stop breeding and
second stop dumping these animals after the holiday season to shelters.
I would be happy to recommend great breeder in NY area.

BTW, where on LI are you. we used to live in Port Jefferson area, but moved to San Diego about 10 yrs ago.
