giac re map

checked the giac site and looks like they want me to send them my old ecu to remap can't this be done by e mail ? thats how they flashed it in the first place... thanks

I'd give them a call. Do you have the hardware? I think it depends on a few factors but they will likely take care of a customer. Looks like you may in in for some more easy ponies.

AUDIPWR is infamous around these parts
you need to do one of two things, find a giac dealer close to you with the hardware/software to do the upgrade for you or send the ecu to them for them to do it. They utilize a proprietary software system to load their files onto cars which only dealers have, not to mention a special cable. They can not just email you a file and you load it in with a standard obd2 cable.
