Read the text. Looks like Porsche is offering short shift as an option.

mansour: Alfie gave me the impression that short shifter option is Euro-spec only and not available in US; I e-mailed him today because I wanted to get this option; have not heard back yet

I tried to order it on my TT Cab for Oct build, but the dealer said it was "unavailable". It's in the preliminary USA TT Cab order guide! I asked; "What gives?" He said; "Who knows?"
