Best looking wheels on a 996 Turbo
Black wheels actually trick the eye to looking smaller than they actually are..., they have no break between the wheel and the tire...this is especially true for wheels with black or matte back lips and barrels with a polished or brushed faces/centers...
^^^ yes but notice how BBS puts a machined ring on the outermost edge of the CH wheel...that's to break up the black wheel from the tire...thus making it appear true in size to what it should be
Best ones are HRE Monobloc! No contest. But I'm still putting the second best Fikse Profil 10 19" 11.5 and 8.5 on my 996 Turbo. Can't have the 997 and the 996 match or I'd buy another of the best looking the HRE Monoblock. But, let's face it the least price is 5100.00 so it's easier to pay 3895.00 for the Fikse too. Still, with the 300.00 caps to use on the Fikse that are Porsche, it's still pretty expensive!
I still wonder about black wheels, but then it's also 2012 now too... although I still love Led Zep the rest of styles seem to change?
AND, no one really has come to grips with the fact that NONE OF US really know the correct size of the tirest either. Heck, I've heard vastly different from Porsche, tire Rack and Fikse, not to mention the private special shops.....
I'll certainly let you know when I choose one to believe and how they work.... I'm praying too!

These are one of my favoite wheels, only bested by the P41 conical and the new not release yet P47 conical..... I wined long enough that I guess you guys just had to make the P47 in a conical....
You all have made good choices. Nice to see all the different forms of self expression.. After all if we all said this is the best looking wheel we would all have the same looking car
