a 40 offset should be fine rear but rolling the fenders is always a good idea if running 12's my front rubbed in front on 19's. plus they were harsh but i was on terrible roads back then. surely impacted my feelings about the setup, that a for sure contributing factor.

I finally got my 997 GT3RS wheels fitted. The pictures are terrible, and obviously I didn't "pose" the car. I'd take better shots, but the weather here in MO has been terrible for a while now.
I added 7mm spacers in the front and 15mm in the back. I had to use some zip ties in the back to pull the inner fender wells in towards the turbos to keep from rubbing, and they do stick out a little further than stock, but I like the looks.
The tires are 305/30/19 and 235/35/19.

those look awesome. xlnt choice. it figures sam helped.i ran 18 w 7x15 spacers was VERY low and flush. though me, personally i won't sacrifice stability/performance to run 19. but again, great choice for a mostly? street car.

i'm gonna get some oz gt2 sizes that look very similar to that gt3. 10 spoke. scawt's got em i cant stand looking at the pics any longer lol

Yes, I am pretty much always on the street... I did keep the stock wheels for the occasional DE, but I'm not sure that I have enough experience on the track to tell the difference anyway... I kept them mostly to keep from nicking them up if I should be lucky enough to squeeze in a track day here or there.

 

Any more pics? I too have a lapis blau and am considering the forgestar cf10's in their bronze color.

Mine is midnight blue and I did the matte antique bronze not the bronze burst.

I love love love the color! It's extra but I love the look. I don't have any other pics yet. It has been flipping snowing in Texas!

 

When my lapis is in the shade, it's pictures come out rather close to your midnight blue. I look forward to more pics when it stops snowing.

I know they're not anything unique, but I am really happy with my Forgestar F14s. I had them custom PC'd in "Cadillac Grey".

I just got my strosek style wing on too. Along with wheels, inlets and new clutch with gt2 slave conversion I'm really glad I didn't have to sell it.
