No CEL or limp mode just a lot more fun!! but i was worried because I knew the car had not been flashed. I have the code from the DME as P1255-boost pressure curve, upper value exceeded. Your issue just sounds so similar as to what my car did so thats what I think you have going on. Let me know if I can be more help.
