No that is not it. Again similar. The pics look a little different in comparison. Besides, the car I have is one of two produced specifically to be run by the Porsche factory team in La Mans. In addition the power rating is far in excess of the 375 hp in the article and I have not done a thing to the car since we purchased it from the Porsche library. Windows are different and so are the fenders.
It does have mechanical fuel injection, dry sump and large intercooler up front. It also has those brakes. It is also about 100 kg lighter than the cars pictured.
I'll have some pics posted as soon as sharkster comes over tomorrow morning.

Met a great gentleman a few months ago at a local gas station in Potomac. He was having the oil changed on his special edition Diablo when I was having my tires swapped.
In conversation he let on that he owns a few cars including a Jag XJ220. I think I remember that it was still in Canada due to import issues, and it sounded like he had a small collection up there...

You guys are too funny. No 962 Dauer. No way to federalize one at a reasonable cost yet. Sharkster will see a few cars. This warehouse is one of three used.

Looking at the papers, Porsche took two CGT S's and prepared them for Le Mans. Part of the changes included installing the CGT R motor. I was also mistaken about the rated hp. These two cars were rated at 405 hp from Porsche.
We picked up the car from Porsche through Olf (sp) Lang in 1990. It required posting a bond to enter the US. I understand the second car is located in South Africa.
