Question Aerokit tail of GT2???

Ok, this sounds funny, but my boys (3 and 6 yrs old) like the "big tail". Every time they see a GT2 tail they request that. Being life is too short, I am thinking that since they are still impressed with small things like this I would consider the idea.

So my question to you guys is that since an Aero kit tail is somewhat rare would you keep it or go to the GT2 tail?

I actually think your car looks unique with the aerokit tail and the tech art front.... but I do like the GT2 tail of course. I say if it pleases the little guys do the GT2

I will be the first!
Since you have the TA nose, go with the GT2 tail.

The kids would love the GT3 Cup wing the best. Can't get much bigger than that...

Stephen,

Funny you should mention this, as I may be adding a TA front and GT2 rear. Personally, I prefer the GT2 rear over the aerokit. Moreover, isnt the GT2 rear more functional from an air intake perspective?

Though I am hardly a fan of TechArt's styling, I am not sure why people who go to the extent of putting on a TechArt front end wouldn't do the entire bodykit, i.e. side skirts, GTS rear bumper, and Type 2 adjustable wing?

Why mix and match aero parts when the TechArt vampire kit is designed as an aerodynamic system?

In many ways, the Type 2 wing is more "unique" and matches the front bumper. It is also more easily adjustable for different tilt angles, and has air intakes similar to the GT2 base. The cost differential between an OEM GT2 rear decklid and wing and the Type 2 wing seems negligible.

To be honest Tyson the GTS it to much bling for me, nor do I have the matching bumper. I have the old stuff.

I would not use a OEM GT2 tail. The tail we sell has adjustments to correct the down force.

Point taken though. I appreciate the input. I guess I could sell the nose and do a GT2 OEM nose on it. Although I need another project like a hole in the head.

Stephen,

I'm interested in your aerokit rear decklid/wing, please PM me regarding price, color, and whether it is adjustable or not.

Thanks,
Rick Gilhart
