Questions; what size are your larger turbos? I saw you had Ep loud - what 3' exhaust did you go with? and did you notice any difference with the exhaust change? spool time, spool sound, drone?? FWIW I have larger turbos, EP stage 2 Quiet and a cab and I have drone between 2200- 2700 but still love the sound of the exhaust

It's really not too loud at all, and I could actually go louder. Once it warms up, you really dont' even hear it much on idle. Cold start pushes more gas and it is much louder. WOT is amazing .

 

I've decided on Markski's. Looking forward to the install with GIAC flash and EVOMS vflow intake.

 

you'll be very happy with that exhaust. before you get that flash make sure that it will grow with your future needs. check out protomotive too...

 

Sound clips don't come close to being in the actual car and experiencing the actual exhaust. I thought I had a good impression from sound clips of one of the cars that was fs here but it didn't even come close to hearing it in person.

 

Yes, nothing quite like falling for the good old clever youtube sound clip trick. It sure has claimed a lot of victims.

 

There are tons of exhaust choices for the 996TT it's amazing...I don't think you can go "wrong" with any of them really, even modifying the stock exhaust like Ruf makes power gains, so after that the aftermarket offers you many different sounds...I like Markski's, Switzer, EP. Cargraphic just to name a few...there are many others which are great also...as folks have said you realy gotta ride in the car and hear it at speed

I love the sound of Kressieg exhaust.
But it is expensive....
does anyone know INNOTECH exhaust??
