I plan to hit the planned MIR rental this Friday w/my car and wanted to get opinions from the p-car owners that have drag raced there cars at the strip. Do you folks run with PSM on/off? And what launch technique do you guys think is best?

My car...bpu w/stock clutch.

 

Not sure about launch technique, but I would imagine with traction you get from the AWD, you would get better times without the PSM stepping in to reduce throttle.

 

With AWD and some pratice feathering the throttle (rather than just side stepping the clutch and mashing the throttle) you'll get better times without the PSM.

 

psm off.. Then see what works for you. Track and tires are a big part in how you will launch. s always drive around the water box.
