where to find replacement GT2 bumper lip?

mine is in decent shape, but where would i find another lip insert? i found one place that had what looked like the right kind of lip, but carbon fiber. im not sure exactly what this is, polyurethane possibly? it appears to just plug right into part of the bumper. any help would be appreciated for the new guy...m

Or it you want a meaner look, you can use the 997 GT3 lower lip spoiler. Now there is a gap in the front center that the body shop will have to fix (simple for any reasonable shop). It also does not come exactly to the end of the bumper in the wheel well area. about 1/4 inch short on each side. Otherwise fine. They are dirt cheap and look way better.

Whose bumper do you have now? OEM GT2 or aftermarket. Precision Porsche uses OEM lip on their replica bumpers. NR auto uses their own lip on their replica bumpers. Most other companies use their own fiberglass or carbon fiber lip

For OEM, it seems Sunset Porsche in Oregon has the best price.

The GT2 lip should only be like $200 max. I had Edwin paint mine gloss black to match the exterior and it looks good. I highly recommend painting the lip...however, as all of know, a scratched up painted lip looks a lot worse than a scratched non-painted lip, so be careful!!
