Vacuum and/or boost leak? Where to start looking?

After getting my 996 TT back from the shop fixing a coolant line fitting that decided to jettison itself (engine out fix + welding = $$$$), I have noticed that boost to be down and that it idles high once it is warmed up.

I have a Switzer k16 tune and would regularly see 1.1 bar at WOT but now only see .6 to .7 bar.

Before I call the shop, I would like to see if I can find the culprit before I hassle with getting the car back to the shop which is 50 miles away (not many other options in my area).

Any suggestions of common places to check that may cause both low boost and high idle would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Andy

Disregard: From underneath the car I couldn't see anything amiss. But once I got the rear left tire off, the problem was obvious. A vacuum tube that attaches to the turbo inlet just prior to the turbo had either popped off or had been forgotten once the engine was reinstalled.

I haven't taken the car out yet, but I am assuming this was causing my problem.

Thanks for looking!
