Rear tires cupping

I have a problem with the rear tires cupping. I have had now two rear sets of 315/30/18 Kumho XS tires on Fiske wheels in the last 18 months, the wheels are standard offset and width. After the 1st set got really noisy the stealer told me they were too wide for the car, after putting on 10mm spacers I still had the noise, so the spacers came off, no change in the noise. The stealer then said it was wheel alignment so they realigned the car and mounted and balanced a new set of rear tires. The stealer tells me the wheel bearings and shocks are fine, the car has 70K miles, the suspension is standard. The Fiske wheels have been on the car for years without this problem, both rear tires are cupping, both on the inside and both cupping about the same amount. The stealers latest theory is that it was either the tires or the wheels both of which I find difficult to believe. I've asked here before if anybody else was having the problem with the Kumho and the response was negative. The car doesn't sit for extended periods of time nor is it tracked, I've had the car for 5 years and done 35K miles. Today I have mounted some of the Falken $59 615's in the same size but I'm pretty sure these will also cup out as well. Does anybody have any thoughts on the problem? Thanks - Mark

Hey,

Do you have a pic of the tires? It can be bad ball joints but to get bad ones on both sides at same time? Pic's will help.

This is likely to be the alignment. Seems to be a lot of these threads lately...

Could you post specs for the alignment that the dealer did?
