So the shift light FYI is extra, $30. They also have inputs for aftermarket AFR sensors too.

 

dan , can you view your peak settings say after a highway run ? can you go back and see how much boost you it ? and what afrs ? etc?

 

I dont think so... but will reconnect and check as I remember seeing a screen that should "record" data.

Just checked, it does not... but will. Eric said he is working on the "data logging" part but does not have an eta. This will most likely just be a software update to the unit.

 

I own a Vivid supplied "older" brockway. The amber lighting is what sold me since it looks very stock in the cd holder slot. Is this the only display color for the new series?

 

There are many colors to choose from on the DGauge and you can set a individual color for each part of the screen. Green, orange, blue, pink, red, white, etc. You can get your inner artistic on with the selection

 

interested to see what the pod for mounting it will be like for the 996tt. Let me know when you have your prototype ready.

 

Interested as well - have a few questions. For montoring boost, engine coolant temps, and oil temps would you need separate sensors? If so, what do they cost and where would the ECT and oil temp sensors go in the engine compartment?

 

All that is pulled from the OBDII information. They do have plugins on the back of the unit for external sensors too.

What do you guys think about mounting it here?

We have not made a pod yet. This is an after thought right now.
