when do you need drop link upgrades?
when putting in coilovers or sways?

Drop links attach to sway bars on one side and coilovers on the other. How will you be using the car? You probably don't need them if you are only street driving, but if you want them then I recommend the TRG ones, quiet and stout. I have them on my car since 3 years, no problems.
