Upgrade K16s Turbo - What DV Spring?
Hi,

I have installed a stock turbos (K16) and Forge Diverter Valves with the weak green spring.

I will go upgrade the turbos to K16/24 (K16s) with 1.1 bar, Ypipe, Plenum, exhaust, 997.2 RS intercoulers, ECU new program.

With this upgrade should I replace the DVs springs? What Colour?


Valve Spring color coding
Green - 5-15 PSI
Yellow - 15-23 PSI
Blue - 23-30 PSI
Red - 30 + PSI

Don't think it's necessary to change the spring

My car is stock K16, and I'm using the yellow springs without issue

What mods has your car?

The turbos have the stock pressure (0.7 bar)?

I don't have any performance mods

My car is standard - just with Forge DVs and yellow springs
