i installed the xenon matching fog light bulb tonight & here are some comparsion pics as promised...

I am going to get a set for my fog too. but I might be getting the PIAA Ion Crystal H3 it puts out an amber/yellow light. But matching the xeon sure look nice tho. http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H3.html

it is compatible with a `99 .. right ?

 

I had pia bulbs for my M3 fogs and while they looked great, I always had to replace them b/c they constantly burned out. I guess it's a trade off when you go to a HID look alike bulb. Im not sure how the 996 guys have been making out with these bulbs...only time will tell.

 

Thanks alot for great pics. You're the man. BTW, which looks like it matches more closely in person, 55w=110w4150k or 55w=85w3800k? It is diificult to tell in pics, they both look good.
