930's had two pumps stock. A feeder or lift pump and a pressure pump. The upgrade was to add a 044 in place of the pressure pump. Nothing new here. The pump needs to be isolated to stop the noise.

Hey Guys,,,I just found a surge tank made for the 044 pump from a company ,, 034motorsports.com ..It is not that big and not suppose to restrict the performance of the 044 pump....This should deaden the sound?? I am thinking of trying this out.......

Great option for us people that want to run a 2nd pump; I think I will go this way as well. I'll swap the stock pump for a 044 and then have that feed the surge tank.

Not sure how this would make things quieter unless insertion of the tank causes a reduction your overall fuel pressure which, I assume, you don't want to happen. Btw, how much pressure are you running with your two pumps?

Hey Guys,,,Today Kelly Moss Racing addressed the issue of that noise...They solved it with out adding a surge tank.....
