Spacer size on stock OEM wheel
This is 10mm front and 17mm rear. I find this to be the perfect setup...I couldve even gone 18mm rear, but left it at 17. I prob wouldnt do 15mm all around...from an angle it may look like the fronts stick out more than the rears do.

PS does anyone notice that my rear drivers wheel and front passenger wheel are brighter than the other 2? I should swap sides, but i'm wondering how they discoloured overtime like that
I know your car JP, i have pics with it on my computer
I think that with 15mm in front the wheels are going out to much at least for my taste.

About spacers, I have a super-newbie question. Is there another reason for installing spacers except for looks? Dont they put on weight which should be a negative thing in respect of handling?
I just had new tires installed to rear and noticed while watched the tire-guy work that there are thin spacers installed in my 996 turbo. Could they be from the factory? How thick are they and do you remove them when installing bigger spacers?
