"Valet Mode" on Flash Loader

Anyone have any amusing stories about giving someone your car in "Valet Mode"?

Can someone explain what Valet Mode does to limit performance?

I think it's just a rev limiter.

The GIAC valet mode allows only 50% throttle and limits the speed to 30mph. If it was only a rev limiter I'm sure some creative valets could figure out how to still enJOY the ride. The 50% limit makes it harder to launch the car; the combination works pretty well at keeping the car safe.

Thanks,

I think valet drivers will be insulted if they find out your car is in valet mode. That being said, chances are higher now your car will go through a beating without your knowledge.
