callout: PAULIEWALNUTS
Famous Dr_jitsu was your M3 E46 ?
M3 E46 are very nice cars,i had one too but stock.I've heard from England forum that they blew easy when modded.
Too bad it happened mostly because yours was one of the fastest in USA,but stock will be fine for your DD
Huh? My E46 M3 makes 940whp not even in full boost, reliably no motor issues at all....
Also his car was not one of the fastest, literally all the HPF cars were faster and there is a considerable amount of those now.
Yes....the problem w/ the E46 cars.....wonderful cars, but it is hard to get enough tire on the road to put all that power down.
I am really looking forward to getting mine up and running again, even though she will probably only make around 320 rwhp.
I have always found that a SC is much more in line w/ the cars character.

I was SC'd and had nitrous back in the day, the car was super fun indeed.
Thats the problem....there really is no way (fender widening/rolling or kits....none look good on the E46) to get enough tire there.
What makes the E46 a great car, IMO, is balance. No other high performance car was as easy and enjoyable to drive.

I've managed to fit a pretty big tire, my car is just too light back there though. I'm getting some 16's made to fit an even bigger tire soon.
But you are right the car was one of the funnest sports cars to drive!

I don't have any good gas at the moment and probably won't waste the money on any until temps get out of the triple digit regions. I know you were out there this weekend because when I finally got my phone charged again I got three text messages all saying the same thing from you LOL!!
My 996TT beat your over priced M3 how is it you think Paulie's GT2 got beat?
Your 5" intercoolers aren't going to cool the air going into your engine, despite what you think. This weather is retarded hot.
fixed
SCM3 is that your car in your abatar ?? if so looks amazing.
My E46 M3 Laguna Seca blue was 2002 and at that time there were some engine blew esue.Even in Guatemala country next to mine there were 3 cars out of 20 cars with blew engine.I had two recalls to change the shells bearing. My was stock and i had no problem. What a read inthe England forum was the same as the Guatemala's car problem.
In El Salvador,at that time, there were only four E46 M3.It is a beautiful car, very well balanced, very fast and great breaks, nice at twestes, great stability.
