What a score !!
I have a friend of mine who has a 996 TT 2001 like mine his is burnt orange
all bells and whistles . Mine is stock just purchased 2 months ago . Well turns out his wing failed so I went on a hunt to find a motor and cylinders . Scored on the items for $400.00 bucks. I never installed so I gave it a shot . Walla ! It worked so the next thing was he already had a 200 cell 70mm exhaust on his car. I think Speedtech? So I saw a Tubi exhaust system that was selling for $1,700 guy barely used it. So I told him about it and he bought it . So I decided
to give it a shot on the install. Dealer said have to loosen the motor mounts . Another said must remove bumper . I looked underneath I told him you dont need to do any of that. I removed the unit and installed the Tubi Wow ! What a deep throaty sound. He loved it . So he said by the way keep the Speedtech exhaust .
Its getting installed tomorrow!
