how common is second gear pop out?

I've read a lot about second Gear pop out. How common is it really?

In the early cars it is, 01's for sure. I had it in my 03 though. easy to test for if you are looking to see if a car has the pop out issue.

I have it in my 03 it is a pretty cheap fix, $100.00 part and a few hours labor, can DYI if needed.

Testing is easy, in gear do light accel / deaccel. (usually it pops out when letting off the gas)

Are you talking about the Gbox part? That fixes it? I thought it was more preventative.
