Exclamation Clutch is hard WHILE driving and power steering is also out

I had the accumulator and the slave replaced at the dealer due to heavy clutch after it sat for a few days - all fixed. Few weeks later, same problem. Took back to the dealer and they replaced the accumulator again - all fixed. Few weeks later, while I was driving the clutch got really heavy then it lightened up after I pumped it, then got heavy again and stayed heavy for the rest of the 20 min ride home. At the same time, the power steering went out.

I will take it back to dealer, but what could the issue be? I dont see any leaks under the front hood.

Help!

So my guess is that there is a leak in the system OR they forgot to check both the front and rear reservoirs. Since the PS and the Clutch hydraulics are linked and use the same fluid system, both must be maintained during the swap. They should know this, though. Sounds like you're likely going to get a PS pump and they'll have to resolve the whole "fluid/pressure" issue. Slave, Accumilator and Master should all be checked at this point.

Thanks Mike - I noticed that there was fluid sprayed over the back bumper, not on top of the spoiler, but all over the back bumper. So there is a leak of some sort. I dropped it off at the dealer this morning and had them wash it off so it doesn't eat the paint. At this point you think it may be a power steering pump?

Things recently replaced:
Slave cylinder
Accumulator
Alternator (probably unrelated, but just had it replaced when they replaced the accumulator for the second time)

Thanks,

Deepak

Did they drain and refill all the fluids and make sure there wasn't any air in the lines?
