Swapping rear center consoles

I got a new rear center console. The hinge of the storage container cover is rivetted on my old one. Do I need to buy a hinge repair kit and put it on my new center console (does not have a hinge)?

TIA

why not drill the rivets out on that one, and put it on the new one. that one is the repair kit hinge.

Exactly what scott says... you will need a hinge repair kit, but that's the way i'd do it.

I believe I stuck a sharp object in the rivet hole and it popped out. Then I used zip ties instead of a hinge repair kit, worked like a charm.
