After being away from his Tiptronic 996 Turbo for 3 years, our customer was ready to get back in a P Car. The Porsche 996 Turbo is hands down one of the best performance turbo cars available right now for the money. But when stock handling, power, and looks is not enough, you break out the plastic and start your upgrade train! The major transformation of this car is with the Vivid Racing Stage 3 Suspension Package. This package was spec'd based on our experience with the 996TT and 997TT handling characteristics and needs. The first major component is with the KW V3 Coilovers. These coilovers provide an incredible street ride with their independent rebound and compression settings. With the patented bump stop design, the coilovers out perform your expectations on the track and in the fun run curves. Improving steering response and handling, sway bars are a must. We go with the 3 way adjustable front and rear H&R sway bars. With adjustability comes the need for strength so we add the front and rear Agency Power sway bar links. Since we have gone down in ride height to give this car a murderous look, we need the ability to adjust for more camber and toe then what the factory settings allow. Besides add adjustability, the Agency Power control arms and toe arms add rigidity to the cars handling from the 3-piece spherical rod ends over the stock bushings. Our final suspension add-on comes with the Agency Power control arm bushings. Fitting in both the front and the rear, these bushings take out the stock rubber mount to again give you an enhanced responsive handling characteristic. All of this is available seperately as a kit too(The Red Group).

Looking good with the stance comes from these 19 inch Fiske wheels sporting a 235/35/19 and a 305/30/19. You might say that is the wrong tire for the rear, but not when you have done the rear wheel drive conversion! Save 100 lbs off the front end and point the car where you want. The owner says the car is way more predictable without the front drive attached. So to top off the look of the car, we upgraded it with a GT2 front bumper and GT2 rear wing from Precision Porsche. Already equipped with a ECU flash and Agency Power exhaust, this car is on its way to being a beast!

Is there a better than stock suspension without having to lower the car?
I want a suspension that's great for going into curves as my stock makes me feel like i'm floating in the front about to lose control at high speed.

 

You can keep the car at only about 5mm lower then stock if you want.
