...And it was a blessing.
He suffered tremendously with Joint, bone and other pains, along with an inability to oxygenate his blood, holes in his heart, and extremely low blood pressure.
My dad never saw me drive on a road course, but was the reason I got into cars. He never understood what I did for a living. All he knew was that I was his "baby". We didn't see eye to eye on much. But his work ethic, his morals and his desire to teach people will forever live in me, and through me. If you have ever read anything I'd DIY'ed or helped explain, it was because of him.
He was a great man, my hero and he will be missed.

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, we come before you in humility and reverence and ask that you would comfort Mike Kelly and his family. Please send your Angels to minister comfort to his family in these days of loss and sorrow. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray that you, God, would draw Mike's Family in closer to each other and give them solice during these trying times. We humans only hold limited knowledge and lack the infinite wisdom that you carry, so through you we are comforted. Through you, the weight is lifted. Humbly, Lord, you are our light,,, You are our way.

I read this today on a day when my own Father and I had some pretty heavy talk about some issues in the past. I can relate to not seeing "eye to eye" all the time. What you are going through helps put it all into perspective for me though.
Your Dad raised a great Son! You reflect many of his positive traits and I cant begin to count how many exchanged pm's, emails and even phone calls we have shared while you have been teaching me about how to work on my car.
May our Lord and Savior send his peace that passeth all understanding to you and your family.

Its very difficult loosing your father. I lost mine 2 and a half years ago. We never saw eye to eye either when I was young but over time we became the very best friends.

Mike haven't been on here much, and haven't seen you around on here or at VIR .. Sorry it had to be this way, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
