Darn re-treads!! Front lip now gone....need help.

Ok, for the second time this summer I ran over some re-tread remains (changing lanes to pass) and this time lost my whole front lip. OUCH!!

Anyway, I want to replace it with the same (as in my avatar) or similar looking one, but since this was given to me I don't know the brand.

Now, the streets, highways and parking lost of the greater Houston area are notorious for potholes, debris and steep angles so I wasn't sure if it would be better or worse to switch to a carbon fiber piece or stay with the poly type and maybe get it wrapped versus painted this time.

Any idea who makes this type of lip? This one was given to me so I don't know the make. I do know it was pretty flexible, but almost too flexible, as the paint was starting to peel from just regular wear and tear.

The only two I have found that look the same were from Extreme Motorcars (poly) and ROTtec (CF).

I don't want to spend too much, but don't want to go back to stock, so let me know if I have any other choices and if you have any opinions on poly, carbon fiber, or whatever else is out there and if wrapping might be a good solution to the paint peeling.

THANKS!!

It looks like the Mashaw Aero front lip: See It. I have the stock lip and it doesn't look that good.

The Rotec CF one looks identical to your pic. If you do decide on that one, Ray has a skid plate avaliable for it.
Good quality lip, and looks great.

So any comments on carbo fiber versus poly? Will one last any longer?

Would wrap be better than paint??
