i was drooling over a blue one they had at auto gallery out here and i'm too old to be sitting in cars in dealerships! i think they're asking even more than 245k! if that's not the ultimate 911, i don't know what is. at least our cars are related!

My only gripe is the price gauging (by Porsche). There is nothing that justifies this price.
Yes people are willing to pay, yes I want one, but this is the combination of a GT3 and Turbo both cars that can sell for about $120K. You have to buy BOTH to get a combination of parts....
Maybe I'm crazy but Mclaren is offering a twin turbo, 8,000 RPM, 600HP V8 for the same price... I'd be tempted to buy that at this price.

Not many will be fortunate enough to buy real ones, but many of us can scheme and dream while trying to build our own vision of a GT2 RS (over time).

No question they will be collector cars. I just think it's anti enthusiast to sell 600 cars for 100K more than they're worth.
Actually, most of these cars have been purchased as investments and sold for more than porsche was asking for them. I saw two today at Champion. One was a consignment for 270k used. The last one I saw before that was black. All are amazing cars. As for the price. While I wouldn't pay that even for the car even if I had it to throw on one, paying for exclusivity with a limited edition porsche isn't any more silly than paying roughly the same for a Ferrari that has that has less in the performance department. Especially when that Ferrari probably has higher production numbers than the GT2RS.

Just watched it for a second time, excellent. I would say your Top Gear is more like our other car Tv programme 5th Gear with Tiff Needell. The UK Top Gear has become silly over the last number of years.
I loved the way the streets were closed. There's no way we would be allowed to do that over here
