Variable geometry turbos?
This is news to me.....the turbo continually adjust the vanes on the compressor wheel to get maximum flow. Audi is using this technology in Europe. Wonder if the next generation turbo will have this tech.? Sounds promising.
It's a well-known option, documented in texts about
supercharging for years, but it has never been used
in Porsche street turbos yet. Garrett, IHI, and Mitsubishi
all have had turbos with variable vane technology.
