Softtronic vs. EPL ecu tuning?
I too heard awesome things about EPL and their work....was talking to Tony a while back about some ideas but never heard back from him after a while
I also think Markski is great, both Tony and Markski seem helpful and honest and really willing to help enthusiast with personalized goals...
I don't know much about softtronic outside of seeing their ad in Porsche Panorama magazine...

the guy is crazy busy, been in the same situation myself before. Plus he has added some new little ones to the stable, so give him a break.
The guy who said that Tony read softronics code and copied it, one word: Moron.
^^^ yeah I figured as much ... I'm not mad just dissapointed and kinda sad... a 5 min call back over several months... am I asking for too much?
Don't get me worng Tony is a good guy, very nice, very informative, and really knows his stuff...I was very impressed, he was super honest and helpful just like Markski...we were coming up with a strategy for my car and some goals...I was considering his plan and Markski's side by side...
in the end I went with neither (at this point) because I didn't hear back from Tony so my analysis and comparison remained incomplete...
I hope to hear back from Tony one of these days, and then I can hopefully have the data that I need to make an informed decision, until then my mod money remains tied in the market which at the discount shares are trading now may just be the best path of them all

^^^ Congrats buddy.... I knew there had to be a reason...that's why I left you alone and didn't keep calling you a hundred times a day like most people might... I figured in due time things would work themselves around...
EPL has been great to me.
When I bought my tune from them I was living in California but I knew I was going to be moving out of California within a year so I asked if they would update my tune to 93 oct after I left. Well just moved out of California and received my update 93 tune from EPL without any problems.
Thanks

Hey Tony since it's fall already, maybe lets re-visit our discussion and ideas for potentially shifting now more toward the winter timeframe lets see., gives me some more time to drive the car in the fall and ya some more time to spend w the twins when work load is greater approaching winter figure around that time things might let up a bit for you anyway...
EPL. We send all of our P-car customers to Tony for the magic sauce. If you want my opinion I'd def. go with an EPL tune.
Here is a before/after of a tune Tony did on a customers 997 Turbo.
