Well, if you look around on those pictures, you'll see that everything you could possibly need is right in your (or the shop's) backyard.
Here's a few suggestions on how to fix the aerodynamic inbalance and make the car more appealing:

lol.

seriously though, i'd be pretty scared about doing any big speed after hacking the factory aerodynamics on a nearly 200 mph car. this stuff is tested at big bucks expense and clowns like strosek just don't come close in their aero r&d. 911s are already tail heavy as it is with light front ends. i would think the last thing you want to do at big speeds is make the back heavier without doing anything to the front. there are lots of other aero factors which are way over my head, which is why i'd be more than a little cauious about messing with it on such a high mph car.
thanks for the concern!
aerodynamic performance is something i never even thought about, given that i've never been to the track, only speed in bursts ( and in straight lines) - flowing lines just look so sessy....

i figure it would be years of serious track time and education to get me going that fast! and by then, the lip would be chewed up and will be replaced with a garish lower lip!

DZY -

I will do a write up when the wheelie project is complete!

Haha, I look forward to it
The car looks great by the way. Ben, since you are a knowledgable guy, how much approximately would a wing like this change the front/back downforce balance?
It's an interesting topic, I can't help to wonder how well-tested all the aftermarket wings and spoiler kits are. A safe guess is that Ruf's products have been tested meticulousy, but what about Techart, Gemballa etc.?

it is nice looking and if you aren't planning on taking it way up there (straightline included) speed wise, you'd think it'll be fine aero wise. it wouldn't be like that car that flipped up into the air (front end first) in that race, but rather feel floaty or loose in the front if anything.

nah, i'm not knowledgable at all other than knowing aero design is a whole car one and changing pieces of it affects the whole. other than ruf, i'd be surprised if much testing is done.

Strosek actually claim to wind tunnel test their aerodynamic parts. This is an actual qoute from their web site.

"Homogeneous, functional design in conjunction with outstanding aerodynamic efficiency has always been a domain of STROSEK AUTO DESIGN. Now we made new comparative measurements in the BMW wind tunnel with a new 911 Turbo with standard bodywork and our STROSEK body styling kit again. The results clearly demonstrate the quality of our design works: On the front axle we could further reduce the lift with our front apron, on the rear our wing profile produces more downforce than the standard pop-up rear spoiler. You can feel that on the road by further improved driving stability at high speeds."

note they also tested the "kit" (ie: with the front apron) rather than just the rear. so, you get more downforce with the rear wing (supposedly) but have not done anything for the lift in the front which is no longer designed as factory when the rear only is added. as well, the TT cab is heavier than the TT so testing off the TT doesn't necessarily translate to accurate results for the cab. the only positive is most of the extra weight is in the center of the car and moderately low. lastly, what is testing in the wind tunnel? an hour? two hours? weeks? (it's very expensive) at what speeds? does the top being down on the TT cab (which they didn't test) affect aerodynamics with the rear wing only? how about both the rear wing and apron? what effect does the extra weight on the rear have on the tires and suspension porsche tested for the car? afterall, the rear is already much heavier than the front which calls for consideration as relates tires.
