Windshield Wipers Won't Turn Off?

Anyone ever have this issue before? They are on all the time. If I hit the stalk up they go faster, but in the "off" position, they should stay off. Instead, they are set to go on intermittently. Rotating the intermittent dial causes them to go faster/slower. After doing research, my guess is the rain sensor control? If someone's had this problem, please let me know what the fix was.

I replaced the ignition switch and know it's not that problem.

TIA

There should be 4 positions on the wiper switch: off, rain sense, low, high I think.

Maybe a bad switch if you can't get it to the off position?

I have it on "off" but it reverts to "rain sensor intermittent". Could it be the switch or relay?>

Well, I don't use my wipers much, but it appears the rain sensor mode is bottom position, and one up is off...

If it's set to "Rain Sensor", wiper shouldn't be on unless there is water on the window.

Maybe check to be sure the sensor is clear. I think it is on the front of the rearview mirror. Maybe some bug guts? lol
