Question about aftermarket wheels on 996tt

The factory turbo twists have these rings that go around the lugs to secure the wheel.

If I am installing aftermarket wheels, should I be using those same rings or would I install the wheels without those?

If it's not making any sense, I'll take a picture when I get home.

Thanks

You should know that the answer will be "ask the wheel manufacturer". Which is the correct answer.

Some use conical and some the radiused lug bolt insert.
