Aesthetically it will make your car look much better however, it sacrifices ride quality (a bit more stiff, bumpy) and you lose a certain sense of comfort such as not having to worry about every single rock or crevice on the road due to scratching or bending the rim plus performance wise I don't feel at ease pushing the car hard on aftermarket wheels ...

I had gotten used to the 542's and it became kinda second nature (kinda like learning how to go up inclines at an angle etc ...) but when I had gone back to stock inbetween the HRE's I felt a sense of relief and a desire that my turbo could now be pushed to its limits without worry.

But now i'm back to HRE's and for me the compliments and differentiation from other TT's on the road outweigh the above negatives ...

That's the attitude I have. Nothing like walking out and thinking, "damn that's my ride" with a smile.

Nice pics of the chick. Do you know the girl I was asking about?

wheels look best when the center design is as flat as possible. the HRE 5-series generally features that.

First, Thank You DarioTexas for your grate Feed-back.
Now I have "another" logical reason for spending such $$$ on a new set of wheels.

But, Why 841Rs and not 542's .... or 845's or 847's
Should I have them painted in Slat .... or keep it Silver ....??

I'm just lost gays with all these ## ... can't make a choice yet.

I gotta ask. Why would you convert it back to stock? That thing was incredible.

B7R, if you can get a ride in a 996 turbo running 19" wheels take it please, and then make up your mind if you want to "upgrade" to that size.

Your turbo S cab would look better but at a cost of ride harshness that you might not be willing to pay, especially on a cab.
