Hi there!!

Sooo..after something like 5 months I have been able to find the time and space to do a couple of logs.

This is still the BASE file the guys at EPL provided.

I want to use this thread for the updates as we go through the files revisions.

I want to say a couple of things before:

- I am still amazed at how good the car drives on a BASE file written only knowing what modifications I did to the car, at the other end of the world....

- The guys at EPL are awesome. Dave found why my car was stuttering/misfiring/backfiring on part throttle......
He is always super quick and helpful at answering my emails, and I tell you, I'm a pain in the ass....I must have shot him a hundred emails over 6-7 months and I am still logging the car for the first time.....he has the patience of a saint.

- I don't know how you big HP guys can drive your cars....

- Driving a 996TT modded like mine on RWD and stock suspension is PLAIN STUPID.....lol... and I'm still running 0.9-1.0 bar of boost.. 25°C outside

Nice to see your graphs and what will be the evolution of your tune. If you think your car is running good now, just wait until it is optimized. Subscribed.
What octane are you running?

Good luck with it. EPL is always very quick in uploading new files. Wait till you get to 1.3 bar

I'm really satisfied by their work....it's worth every cent I spent with them.

Hey, big congrats for your beast BTW....

You should have no issue making 800HP with your hardware on 100RON. Best of luck to you.

Wait until you add a suspension - delivers the power more smoothly instead of looking at the sky hilarious

Are you going water/meth or just water?

I'd like to do meth+water....but meth is hard to find here. I still have to talk with EPL about this. I don't know if doing only water is worth it.

For now I'd be more than satisfied with my current setup fine tuned (I have little to no spare time to play with the car lately, so it takes time for me to get decent logs and flash the ecu with the newer files...)

But water (meth) injection+KW V3's are the "next spring projects" that's for sure......:D

996tt no. 997tt yes.

Obviously it depends on IAT, Boost, ect.

Thanks for answer ! And congratz for you too !

Agreed and thanks. As far as Meth goes - you are right I could not find an authorized VP dealer in Italy, just France and Germany. You dont want to depend on a product that is not readily available to you. Look around though, someone should be able to order a 30 gallon canister for you.... that would last you a year or so depending on how and how much you drive.

There's got to be some dealer for methanol in Italy, even if it's not VP, I would think. IIRC, some farming supply companies might carry methanol - maybe be worth some time Googling and/or phone calls around the OP's area for him to pursue.

^^ Agreed. Type in metanolo. Shouldn't be regulated like ethanol.
