looking underneath the drivers seat

the first box bolted to the floor is a myriad of wires for all points in the car BUT the second box bolted to the seat...is that just for all the seat controls? the pass side seat has just one peenchy connector w/ maybe 10 wires...am i looking at a mountain of changes if i want to hook up the 997gt3 seats? got the pass side in no problem and a wonderful sight/seat it is, but gotta have both...suggestions?
