Racing seats for 996TT

I have recently purchased a 996TT that I plan on tracking. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as racing seats? I am 5'7" and 170lbs. Thanks for any input!

get a roll bar along with the racing seat or don't bother...in a roll over the seat/harness alone will keep your body upright and turn a walk away accident into a fatality...without roll protection you are safer with the stock seats and belt...imo the Recaro GT3/GT2 seats are the best but there are also less expensive seats by Sparco and others...do a search..this topic has been beaten to death many times

good, then just about any racing seat you can manage to mount will keep you solid in place...there are other considerations...like the stock belts and the seatbelt warning system as well as some electrical connections under the seat...do the search...you will probably find a good diy that will help in the seat removal/install

Coolest looking are the 997 GT2 seats. They are not cheap though at $8k retail. I have seen specials on them for $5800 though from certain places and sponsors.
