From all of the pharmaceutical work that I do, there are DEFINITELY different levels of sophistication in who you talk to in the field of Cardiology. Joe MD in a private, non-invasive practice who's 58 years old may have a VERY different diagnostic approach and treatment toolbag to work with (in terms of medication and procedure choices he'll employ) vs. an invasive Cardiologists in a tertiary treatment center/academic hospital (where Joe MD's patients end-up being referred to).
